What is Medical Office Online?
Medical Office Online is the Total Practice Management Solution for your office! We provide a fully integrated HIPAA compliant web application that manages every facet of your medical practice. Why should I use it?
Medical Office Online will allow you to improve the quality of care given by you to your patients while reducing overhead and eliminating unnecessary busywork.

How much does it cost?
The Medical Office Online service is an online subscription. It is priced at only $275 per Provider per month which includes regularly updated state of the art software, secure offsite data hosting, regular data backups and customer service. User access licenses are $15 per month and are required for each person who will be accessing your system. Special pricing can be arranged for new practices and practices with providers working part time. Our application includes all features; there are no add-ons or modules. There is a $695.00 database setup fee which includes eight hours of training. You can have existing patient demographic and insurance information imported from a spreadsheet or flat file for $150. The system is so easy to use most likely you will configure the software and train your own staff. Alternatively, Medical Office Online has Practice Consultant Partners that can facilitate the process for your office.

What do I need to run it?
The system is 100% browser based. This means that you can gain full access to your data from any computer anywhere that supports Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0. This of course includes all laptops and portable devices as well as desktop PCs. While you can access the system from a dial up connection, you will need a high-speed broadband connection in your office for daily use. No server hardware or server software is required.

What about upgrades?
Why spend thousands of dollars purchasing a system that will be obsolete by the time that you own it? With our ASP (Application Service Provider) model, you get all updates, real time, as we make improvements to increase the efficiency of your workflow.

What about security and HIPAA requirements?
Medical Office Online meets and exceeds all HIPAA requirements. With Medical Office Online, no patient data is stored at your office. All information is stored offsite on our high powered servers with industrial strength security. You access your data using an SSL (Secure Socket Layers) 128 bit encrypted connection with a user name and password authentication method.

What features does it have?

•	Patient Permits	With Medical Office Online you can create and store patient permits, such as insurance authorization permits using our digital signature device.
•	Calendar and Scheduling	Medical Office Online's calendar system lets you work with multiple calendars at once. It allows you to schedule an existing patient by doing nothing more than typing in their name and selecting an open time.
•	Patient Tracking	Medical Office Online tracks the entire patient visit process. Track the patients’ status as they make the appointment, get reminded, enter the waiting room, enter the examining room and finally leave the office. No charts, no sign in sheets, no confusion.
•	Electronic Medical Record (EMR) with automatic CPT and ICD9 charge capture	Our EMR is actually an OMR (online medical record) giving you the power to securely access your patients full record from anywhere. It furthermore has charge capture built in so with proper use the claim is ready to be filed straight from the examining room.
•	E&M Coding	As you complete the medical record, the E&M counts are quietly being tallied in the background. You can enter in custom requirements and the system will check to ensure that you have met them.
•	Prescribing	Keep a complete list of the medications that you regularly prescribe and simply drop them in to the patient's chart. You can then either print them and hand them to the patient or fax them to the pharmacy directly out of the system.
•	Images/Attachments	Do you have scans or other data that you want to keep with your records? With Medical Office Online you can attach any type of document that you like to the patients demographic record, medical record or billing record.
•	Letters	Medical Office Online allows you to finish your letters faster than you ever thought possible. From the patient's chart, simply select a letter template and a patient or provider specific letter will open inside your browser. From there you can make any modifications and print. You can use custom letterhead with your practices own logo and have the letters automatically signed. You can also print envelopes instantly from the OMR.
•	Memos and Refill Requests	Get rid of the clutter and confusion. Medical Office Online allows you and your staff to process Memos and Refill requests in a simple and organized manor.
•	Test Tracking	Medical Office Online allows the Provider to order tests during the patient visit. Tests are tracked through each stage of their processing so that you can be sure that each test is handled properly.
•	Reporting Functions	Medical Office Online has full customizable reporting, allowing you to use and modify the supplied reports or create your own.
•	Charge Capture (alternative to EMR charge capture)	Charge capture is available to enter charges manually after the visit has occurred. It is an efficient way to enter hospital visits.
•	Patient Accounts Receivable	Medical Office Online has a full accounts receivable package built right in. In fact, you can print a HCFA right off of the clinical visit.
•	Electronic Claims Filing	With the Medical Office Online System you can print HCFAs or send them off electronically to an EDI service.
•	Electronic Remittance Advice	Medical Office Online's Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) feature allows you to post payments in just a couple of clicks.
•	Patient Billing	Print patient bills straight out of the system to your laser printer. Bills include a full detailed summary of the charges in a clear impressive format. Simply print, fold and insert the bills into a standard sized preprinted view envelope.
•	Scalability	A single Medical Office Online practice allows up to 12 providers working out of an unlimited number of office and hospital locations.
•	More functions added regularly	Medical Office Online receives requests for additional functionality regularly and we are happy to put your suggestions to use.

What features do you plan to add in the future?
Medical Office Online will soon have patient web access, accounts payable functions, advanced contract reporting, and basic HR and timesheet functions.

What if I want to leave or change systems?
We can easily export all of your data into a raw text file, which will allow it to be imported into any other system. An exit fee of $695 is charged to cover the cost of labor to collect and export the Provider's data.
