Privacy and Security
In compliance with HIPAA, the Medical Office Online system uses 128 bit SSL encryption, Username and password authentication and full audit trails to ensure the privacy and security of your data.

Backups
As part of your subscription fee you receive regular data backups. Your data is backed up to a backup server on the hour and backed up to a tape drive at a remote location nightly.

Term of contract
The Medical Office Online service fee is billed to your credit card monthly. When you sign up you agree to a 1 year subscription. Your subscription automatically self renews unless you give 90 days notice that you would like to discontinue your service.

Leaving the Service
Medical Office Online allows you to export your data yourself any time you like. You can then import that data into another system. You will be responsible to pay out the remainder of your contract.

Internet Outage
In many areas, Internet connections are now highly reliable. If your connection is not reliable or for additional redundancy, Medical Office Online recommends that you subscribe to multiple services. This could be DSL, cable modem or the new EV-DO technology.
